Can I email a PDF file directly?+
SpeakIt currently processes the email body text and attached images, not raw PDF file attachments. For a text-based PDF, copy and paste the text into the email body. For a scanned PDF, attach a screenshot of the page(s) — SpeakIt reads the text via OCR.
What about scanned or image-only PDFs?+
Take a screenshot of the page(s) you want read aloud and attach the image to your email. SpeakIt uses optical character recognition (OCR) to extract the text and converts it to audio.
